DESCRIPTION:The training focuses on running and monitoring jobs on the sup
 ercomputers. \nThis is the most important training for a novice user. The
  main goal is to showcase the general flow of doing calculations on a supe
 rcomputer and present how to configure a job tuned to the problem size and
  type.\nLevel\n\nTarget audience\nTraining is intended for new users who j
 ust created an account\, ran an example job and want to start running thei
 r own calculations at ACC Cyfronet AGH. \nAgenda\n\nWhat's HPC?\nStorage 
 spaces at Cyfronet and how to use them\,\nOverview of the sbatch options u
 sed to run jobs\,\nModules or how to use software on the supercomputer\,\n
 Job monitoring in practice\n\nRequirements\nWe recommend doing this traini
 ng after completing First Time on a Supercomputer training provided at A
 CK Cyfronet AGH. \nTechnical prerequisites:\n\nPLGrid account at https:/
 /portal.plgrid.pl/\;\nan active affiliation at https://portal.plgrid.pl/u
 sers/affiliations\;\naccess to Ares supercomputer\,\n\nif a participant ha
 s the access\, no further action\,\nif not\, one need to apply at https:/
 /portal.plgrid.pl/services/103 and the access will be granted when joining
  the team (see below)\,\nparticipants are not required to have their own g
 rant allocations\;\n\n\nmembership in the plggtraining team - the activati
 on link will be sent after registration.\n\nThe above prerequisites are re
 quired to actively participate in the hands-on exercises.In case of no act
 ive affiliation or PLGrid account\, please contact the organisers at trai
 ning@cyfronet.pl. \nParticipants' computers should be equipped with softw
 are that allows SSH connections. On Windows\, it is recommended to use Wi
 ndows Terminal after checking if OpenSSH is installed. We advise against 
 using Putty.\nAt 10:30 am on 23rd February 2026\, a Dry-run will be held. 
 Participants are invited to come to learn how to log in to Ares supercompu
 ter before the training and resolve any problems with the Training Team.\n
 Venue\nThe workshop will be conducted online on the Zoom platform. The mee
